Best child hospital in Kathmandu   

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine dealing with treatment of children. Central government pediatric hospital of Nepal is Kanti Children's Hospital located in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu.. There is large volume of patients all from Nepal being the only government central children hospital. There is lack of ICU beds in Kanti Children's Hospital and the patient have to be referred to other private hospital.

There are also few private hospitals for the children only in Kathmandu. International Friendship Children's Hospital in Maharajgunj and Ishan Children and Women's Hospital in Basundhara. Beside it different medical colleges like Kathmandu Medical college, Nepal Medical College, Patan Academy of Health Cciences have pediatrics department and treatment is done there for children.

Other private general hospital also have the pediatrics doctor and treatment facility available. Pediatrics hospitl also have different department: pediatric gastro and hematology, pediatric nephrology, pediatric neurology, neonatology for the specialized care.
