Neslide is the non-steroidal anti inflammatory drug  containing 100mg of nimesulide that is used in reducng pain and reducing fever. It is used in osteoarthritis and in acute pain for the age group above 12 years old.

Dose and Direction of Use

• Swallow the tablet without breaking, chewing or crushing the tablet.
• You can take the medication 3 times a day if not relieved in a gap of 8 hours.
• Take the medication with food.

Mode of Action

Nimesulide only weakly inhibits prostaglandin synthesis and appears to exert its effects through various mechanisms. It inhibits the release of oxidants from activated neutrophils and has a scavenging effect on hypochlorous acid without affecting neutrophil function.
