I’m 50 years old, and I’ve worn briefs my entire life. I never could wear boxers because my testicles would literally get beaten up like a boxer’s speed punching bag. The pain would start within a couple of hours and became excruciating. So briefs were for me and they always suited me fine and they supported the boys down below. However, within past 4-6 months, wearing briefs causes my entire lower extremity below the waist to feel sore and swollen like I had overdone it attempting to workout. Removing the briefs instantly starts to feel better and returns to normal in about a day. Obviously wearing either causes problems for me. Might there be a medical reason for this? If so, what are my options?
