Liver Cirrhosis is irreversible damage to liver generally due to high alcohol consumption. Rarely it may be due to viral, genetic or other cause but in our setting alcohol consumption is the main cause. Since you have already got the chronic liver parenchymal disease, the best way to prevent this disease from worsening is to stop intake of alcohol. If you don't stop and keep taking alcohol, it will further worsen upto the stage of liver failure. Another thing is try to decrease the fat intake and do regular exercise. Check the status of liver every 6 months. But the best thing you could do is stop taking alcohol. Thanks!
