My stomach ulcer seems to be getting worse day by day even taking the medicines as prescribed by doctor. Is this normal to have severe chest pain and shoulder bones immediately after eating any simple boiled meal? It has been more than a week now.I am also taking medicine of gastric and liquid antacids after meal. Do I have to change my doctor?

Thank you for the question. Chest pain radiating to shoulder may be of other cause besides gastritis too. You should go to hospital and have other test like ECG to rule out other causes. If its ruled out other conditions then also you may need to reconsider for some dietary habits to prevent from gastritis. Have plenty of water, don't be empty stomach, avoid spicy foods. You should first visit hospital and have other examinations to rule out other causes.
