Itragen 100mg is an triazole derivative of antifungal group used to treat the fungal infections of mouth, skin, vagina ,lungs, fingernails and toenails.

Dose and Direction of Use
- Swallow the capsule without crushing or breaking with plenty of water.
- Take the medication after meal and 2 hours before or 1 hour after taking antacids.
- Take the medication as prescribed by the physician or pharmacists.
Mode of Action
Itragen 100 decreases the ergosterol synthesis by interfering with cytochrome P450 activity. It inhibits the cell membrane of susceptible fungi and has antiprotozoal activity. It interferes with enzyme responsible for creating fungal cell membrane and the cell membrane becomes unstable and can leak leading to cell death.
Uses
- To treat fungal infection of mouth, vagina, skin.
- To treat fungal infection in lungs that can spread to whole body.
- To treat fungal infections in fingernails and toenails.
Contraindications
- Contraindicated to alcohol and marijuana users.
- Contraindicated to the patient of CHF (Chronic Heart Failure) and renal insufficiency.
Precautions and Warning
- Consult with your physician about your health issues like CHF, liver disease prior taking the medication.
- If you are allergic to any ingredients, notify your consultant or phrmcist before starting the medication.
- Do not take alcohol or marijuana under this medication.
